Owners of Polish Fintech Blik Discuss Potential Warsaw IPO

The owners of Polish fintech Blik held preliminary discussions about the merits of holding an initial public offering in Warsaw, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The supervisory board of Polski Standard Platnosci SA, the operator of the Blik mobile phone-based payments system, has discussed a proposal to start work on an IPO but didn’t make any final decisions on the matter, the person said, asking not to be identified because the talks are private.
