UK Defense Secretary John Healey said allies have pledged as much as $35 billion in new military aid to Ukraine to strengthen its air defenses after a series of massive Russian air strikes on energy infrastructure and civilian targets.

The new commitments follow a meeting to coordinate support for Kyiv in Brussels on Thursday as Europe rushes to shore up the war-battered country with Moscow’s full-scale invasion approaching its four-year mark.
