Ubisoft Bookings Beat Estimates Amid Portfolio Restructuring

Photographer: Nathan Laine/BloombergUbisoft Entertainment SA reported net bookings that beat analysts’ estimates in the fiscal third quarter, buoyed by strong demand for the video game publisher’s most popular franchises such as Assassin’s Creed.
Bookings, which measure measure the amount of digital and physical content sold, rose 12% in the period from a year earlier to €338 million ($402 million), Ubisoft said in a statement Thursday. That came in ahead of the French company’s previous forecast for about €330 million.
