Saudi FII Event Organizer Attias Is Said to Pick Banks for IPO

Richard Attias & Associates, the organizer of Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative summit that attracts Wall Street titans to Riyadh every year, has tapped a roster of banks to work on its planned initial public offering.

The firm is working with Citigroup Inc. and SNB Capital to help arrange the potential share sale, according to people familiar with the matter. The deal could take place as early as this year and value the events business at up to $1 billion, some of the people said, asking not to be named while discussing private information.
