Reeves Urges Against EU Barriers in Swipe at Made-in-Europe Plan
UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves took a swipe against European Union plans for a “made in Europe” law, urging her counterparts on the continent to broaden the concept out to other like-minded countries.
Speaking late Wednesday at an event at the London School of Economics, Britain’s finance minister said the idea of giving domestic companies preferential treatment for investment decisions “is sensible and precautionary in the times that we live in.”
