Hundreds of UK Clean Power Projects Face Fresh Grid Delays

Britain’s grid operator will reset the timetable for as many as 210 wind, solar and battery projects, conceding it cannot meet deadlines seen as critical for the government’s 2030 clean power target.

Energy regulator Ofgem said in a letter last week it was “frustrated and disappointed” to find out that nearly two-thirds of green power projects that were due to connect by next year will be delayed.
