Hasbro’s CEO Steers Toymaker Toward Grown-Ups, Tariff-Free Fun

'Magic' Game Helps Turn Around Fortunes of Hasbro

Hasbro Inc. Chief Executive Officer Chris Cocks said he’ll be focusing even more on video games and the collector card game Magic: The Gathering to reduce the company’s exposure to tariffs associated with traditional toys.

Hasbro is developing about 10 video games, Cocks told Bloomberg TV on Wednesday. Going forward, up to 80% of Hasbro’s business and 95% of its investment will be focused on the “collector/gamified” business.
