The leaders of Turkey and Greece struck a conciliatory tone after a day of talks in Ankara, in a sign that a recent easing of tensions between the historic rivals will likely continue.

“Issues between Turkey and Greece aren’t unsolvable,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said after a meeting with Greek premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday. He added that progress is possible on the disagreements related to the Aegean Sea.
