Ghana’s Resurrected Anti-LGBTQ Bill Clears Path to Becoming Law

A bill that would make it illegal to be anything but heterosexual in Ghana is set to be re-considered by lawmakers.

The legislation, which lapsed last year when a new parliament assumed office following elections, would jail LGBTQ people for up to three years and punish family members and co-workers who fail to report them.
