Philips CEO Says Strong Demand Helps to Temper Tariffs
Royal Philips NV’s top executive said new products boosting demand and measures to streamline the medical equipment maker’s business are helping to offset tariffs and a weaker Chinese market.
The Dutch maker of MRI and scanners reported comparable sales growth of 7% during the fourth quarter, it said Tuesday. Adjusted Ebita returns at 15.1% beat expectations, after innovations and higher productivity more than offset the impact from tariffs, the company said.
