ECB’s Simkus Says Chance of Next Move Being Hike or Cut is Same

European Central Bank Governing Council member Gediminas Simkus said there’s an equal chance that policymakers’ next move will be to raise or lower borrowing costs.

The economy is growing at close to its potential but the balance of risks can change at any time, the Lithuanian official said Monday.
