Mercuria to Start Joint Venture With Tata’s Trading Unit

Mercuria Energy Group has entered into a joint venture with the trading and marketing arm of Indian steel giant Tata Group, both companies said on Friday.

Pending regulatory approvals, the joint venture is being launched to help Tata International expand its trading business across a wide range of commodities, including oil, gas and environmental products. Tata International is currently involved in procuring and marketing products all over the world for the wider Tata group.
