Croatia Mulls Senior Central Bankers to Replace ECB-Bound Vujcic

Croatia’s government is looking within the central bank to replace Governor Boris Vujcic, who’ll head to Frankfurt in June as the euro area’s No. 2 monetary policymaker.

The top candidates include Deputy Governor Sandra Svaljek and Michael Faulend, one of four vice governors, according to people familiar with the matter. Both would ensure policy continuity, said the people, asking not to be identified as the issue is private.
