AT&T Debuts Smartphone for Kids That Parents Can Monitor
AT&T Inc. launched a phone geared toward kids on Friday, adding a device aimed at keeping families within its ecosystem.
The third-largest wireless carrier said the device — called the amiGO Jr. — will allow parents to monitor their children’s phones from their own devices. “Parents have made it clear they need better tools to help their children navigate the digital world safely,” according to Erin Scarborough, who runs commercialization at the carrier.
