New York Pension Funds Scrutinize Palantir Over ICE Contract

New York’s pension funds, which have exposure to $900 million of Palantir Technologies Inc. stock, are questioning the software company over its business dealings with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security.

City Comptroller Mark Levine also called for oversight of Home Depot Inc. and Lowe’s Cos. practices for the companies’ use of personal data, including license plates and other location-based information. The hardware stores’ parking lots have been “focal points” for ICE enforcement activity, his office said in a release.
