Zaslav, Ellison Lobby EU Officials Over Warner Bros. Deals

Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. Chief Executive Officer David Zaslav lobbied officials across Europe this week, making the case for the $82.7 billion sale of his company’s streaming and studios businesses to Netflix Inc.

Zaslav, on his way to the Winter Olympics in Italy, met in Berlin with Wolfram Weimer, Germany’s federal government commissioner of culture and the media, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof in Amsterdam and UK Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport Lisa Nandy in Milan. He also met with the US ambassador to Italy, Tilman Fertitta.
