Ghana Inflation at Three-Decade Low Puts Rate Cut on Table
Ghana’s annual inflation rate fell to an almost three-decade low, giving the central bank another reason to consider a fifth consecutive cut in borrowing costs.
Consumer prices rose 3.8% in January from 5.4% in the previous month, Government Statistician Alhassan Iddrisu told reporters on Wednesday. Prices rose 0.2% in the month, compared with 0.9% in December.
