Dai-ichi Life to Raise Wages by 7% on Average for Third Year
Dai-ichi Life Holdings Inc. plans to raise wages by about 7% on average in the fiscal year starting April 2026, according to a spokesperson.
The increase will benefit about 50,000 domestic employees, including sales staff, marking the third straight year of a 7% hike. Starting salaries will also be raised, by around ¥19,000 ($122) from a year earlier to ¥354,000 for college graduates on career-path positions, the spokesperson said.
