Berlin Buys 25% of Tennet’s German Grid for €3.3 Billion

The German government will buy a 25.1% stake in the German unit of power-grid operator Tennet Holding BV after years of wrangling between Berlin and The Hague.

Berlin will pay around €3.3 billion ($3.9 billion) for the minority stake, according to a Tennet statement, with the purchase facilitated by state-owned bank KfW.
