Intesa to Return €50 Billion to Shareholders Over Five Years
Intesa Sanpaolo SpA plans to return about €50 billion ($59.3 billion) to investors through 2029 as Chief Executive Officer Carlo Messina doubles down on a strategy to prioritize payouts over large deals.
The Milan-based bank will pay out 95% of profit in a mix of cash dividends and share buybacks over the next four years, according to a statement on Monday. The cumulative amount includes shareholder remuneration distributed on 2025 earnings, it said.
