Air India Grounds Boeing Jet After Pilot Flags Fuel Switch Issue

Air India Ltd. grounded a Boeing 787-8 aircraft after the pilot flagged a possible defect related to its fuel control switch, the airline said in a statement.

The matter has been communicated to the aviation regulator, a company spokesperson said in a statement on Monday. The carrier is getting the issue checked by the manufacturer on a “priority basis.”
