New Jersey Transit trains are running close to scheduled times ahead of the evening commute on Friday, after a blocked tunnel delayed commuters in and out of New York’s Penn Station.

Earlier on Friday, trains were running on delays of as much as 60 minutes, the agency said in a social media post on X. Those delays eased as of mid-afternoon.
