Asta Jumps 46% in Frankfurt Debut After €165 Million IPO

Asta Energy Solutions AG surged in its Frankfurt trading debut on Friday, showing strong demand for the copper-based products maker’s shares.

Asta shares opened at €43 ($51.27) apiece, 46% above the €29.50 per share price that was set in its initial public offering. The share sale consisted of new and existing stock, raising €165 million, with an overallotment option to bring the full deal size to €190 million.
