Swedish lender SEB AB reported profit from lending in the fourth quarter that was in line with estimates as fee and commission business helped offset the impact of lower interest rates.

SEB said net interest income totaled 10.07 billion kronor ($1.1 billion) in the final three months of the year, according to a report published Thursday. Analysts polled by Bloomberg had on average estimated that the figure, which captures the difference the bank earns from lending and pays for deposits, would reach 10.15 billion kronor.
