Treasuries Rise on Haven Demand as Stocks, Precious Metals Fall

Treasuries rose as investors sought refuge from a slide in US equity benchmarks from near record highs and a slump in the price of precious metals.

The move sent yields about one basis point lower across most tenors, with the two-year note’s falling to the lowest level since Jan. 15, before closing around 3.56%.
