Citigroup’s UK Head Says Deals Pipeline Is Strongest For Years

Citigroup Inc.’s UK boss touted the strength of this year’s deal pipeline, the latest banker to predict a deluge of transactions in 2026.

The deal pipeline is “the strongest that we’ve seen now for quite a number of years,” Tiina Lee said on Bloomberg Television on Thursday. Company executives are increasingly looking to inorganic growth as a way to deliver growth for shareholders, she said.
