Brazil Gets Double-Whammy of Bad Data Pointing to Weaker Economy

The economy shed 618,164 formal jobs last month, far more than any estimate in a Bloomberg survey of analysts. The nation hadn’t seen losses on that scale since the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, government data showed.
