Recruiter SThree ‘Carefully’ Optimistic Hiring Slump Is Through

Recruitment firm SThree Plc said it’s emerging from the worst of a prolonged hiring downturn, with client confidence slowly improving and several key markets returning to growth.

The company, which focuses on science, technology, engineering and mathematics roles, is seeing early signs of improvement, it said in a statement Tuesday. “We’re through the worst now,” Chief Executive Officer Timo Lehne said in an interview, adding that the outlook remains “carefully” optimistic.
