Malaysian Ringgit, Stocks Hit Highest Since 2018 on AI, Growth

Malaysian assets jumped to their highest level in more than seven years, buoyed by rising confidence in the country’s role in the artificial intelligence supply chain and a strengthening economic outlook.

The ringgit appreciated as much as 1% to 3.9678 per dollar on Monday, the strongest since May 2018. The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index rose as much as 1.2%.
