Ex-South Korean PM Dies in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Govt Says

Former South Korean Prime Minister Lee Hae Chan died from a serious illness in Ho Chi Minh city, according to a Sunday night post on the Vietnamese government’s website.

Vietnam’s foreign affairs ministry worked closely with the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and relevant authorities to provide the best possible medical treatment for the former prime minister in the past few days, according to the statement.
