S&P Upgrades Congo Credit Outlook Before First Eurobond Offering

S&P Global Ratings upgraded the outlook on the Democratic Republic of Congo’s sovereign credit rating, as the country prepares its first-ever eurobond offering.

It raised the outlook on Congo’s B- rating — six notches below investment grade — to positive from stable, according to a statement on Friday.
