Belarus Opposition Head Tells Trump Lukashenko Can’t Be Trusted
Exiled Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya warned Donald Trump against trusting her country’s authoritarian leader, whom the US president invited to joint his Board of Peace initiative.
Belarusian strongman Alexander Lukashenko serves the interests of Vladimir Putin — who also accepted an invitation to Trump’s new group — and has supported the Russian president’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Tsikhanouskaya told Bloomberg Television on Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
