US Knows Russia Has No Plans to Seize Greenland, Lavrov Says
US President Donald Trump’s administration knows that Russia has no intention of taking control of Greenland, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
With Trump ramping up demands for the US to take over Greenland from Denmark as what he calls a matter of national security, Lavrov said Tuesday that there’s no evidence of a Russian or Chinese threat to the territory.
