The lead prosecutors of former Glencore Plc executives are set to depart the UK’s Serious Fraud Office for private sector roles, leaving the crime fighting agency’s bid to tackle high-profile corruption cases in disarray.
Elizabeth Collery and Victoria Jacobson, the case controllers who secured Glencore’s guilty plea, will shortly leave the white collar crime prosecutor alongside Sara Chouraqui, the agency’s joint head of bribery. The SFO said it was now recruiting for a new head of division.
