A Dutch court stalled the planned tie-up between OCI NV and Orascom Construction amid concerns over the rights of minority shareholders in the firms controlled by Egyptian tycoon Nassef Sawiris.

The Amsterdam Enterprise Chamber on Tuesday evening prevented Dutch chemical producer OCI from proceeding with a planned shareholder vote on the combination with Orascom Construction, an engineering and construction contractor based in Abu Dhabi.
