BlackRock Gets Nod to Extend Asia Credit Fund by Another Year

BlackRock Inc. has obtained investor consent to extend the investment period of its second Asia private credit fund, a step forward as it navigates challenges in the region’s private markets.

The BlackRock Asia Pacific Private Credit Opportunities Fund II will now remain active for another year starting January, according to people familiar with the matter and documents seen by Bloomberg News. During this time, BlackRock may deploy no more than $135 million in new investments, according to the documents and people, who asked not to be identified discussing private matters.
