State Street Eyes Further Expansion Into Secondaries, Hung Says

State Street Corp.’s asset management arm is seeking more opportunities to give retail investors access to secondaries and other private assets.

“We look for like-minded asset managers that are really interested in bringing those strategies to everyday people,” Yie-Hsin Hung, chief executive officer of State Street Investment Management, said in a Bloomberg Television interview in Davos ahead of the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting. “Fundamentally, there’s so much value creation happening in private markets.”
