Somalia’s President Condemns Israel’s Recognition of Somaliland

Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said Israel’s decision to recognize Somaliland has been rejected globally and domestically, adding that Somalia’s unity is “non-negotiable.”

He called upon officials in Somaliland to engage in dialogue with his government and said he’s ready to compromise on anything except the “unity of the country.”
