Vail Resorts Says Snowfall in the Rockies Was 60% Below Average
Ski resort operator Vail Resorts Inc. cut its outlook for 2026 earnings after some of the lowest early snowfall in the western US in more than 30 years.
The Broomfield, Colorado-based company expects full-year earnings to fall below the low end of guidance issued in September even if the weather in the Rocky Mountains returns to normal by President’s Day weekend in mid-February.
