Billionaire Jim Ratcliffe has slashed the asking price for French football team OGC Nice, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

The founder of chemicals giant Ineos Group Holdings SA and co-owner of English football club Manchester United Plc, had been seeking more than €200 million ($233 million) for Nice, some of the people said.
