Thai Crane Collapse on Moving Express Train Kills 32 People

At least 32 people were killed and several dozen injured when a crane used in the construction of a China-backed high-speed rail line collapsed onto a moving train below in northeastern Thailand on Wednesday.

Rescuers are continuing to search for three missing passengers at the site of the mangled wreckage in Sikhio district in Nakhon Ratchasima province, according to the local health department. About 64 injured passengers were being treated at local hospitals.
