The owner of Sido Muncul, Indonesia’s biggest herbal medicine company, is considering options including a stake sale.
The Hidayat family, which holds about 78% of the company through PT Hotel Candi Baru, is open to bringing in a strategic investor to take the business “to a higher level,” Sido Muncul Commissioner Venancia Sri Indrijati Wijono said in response to a Bloomberg News query about a potential sale.
