Vnet Founder Is Said to Partner with Game Developer Youzu to Increase Stake
The founder of Vnet Group Inc., one of China’s biggest data center operators, is partnering with a game developer to potentially buy out Shandong Hi-Speed Holdings Group Ltd.’s stake in his company, according to people familiar with the matter.
Josh Sheng Chen and Youzu Interactive Co. recently made a non-binding offer to acquire Shandong Hi-Speed’s holding, the people said, asking to not be identified because the information is private. The process is in early stages and may not lead to a transaction, they said.
