BNY Profit Beats Analyst Estimates on Fee Gains, Interest Income

Bank of New York Mellon Corp.’s profit beat analysts’ estimates, driven by gains in fee revenue and interest income.

Fourth-quarter diluted earnings per share were $2.02, a 31% increase from the same period a year earlier, according to a statement on Tuesday. That topped the $1.93 average estimate compiled by Bloomberg.
