BMW Closes Out the Year With Hefty China Sales Slump
BMW AG’s fourth-quarter deliveries declined due to slumping sales in China, where local manufacturers led by BYD Co. are taking over.
Sales of BMW and Mini models in the key Asian market fell 16%, canceling out modest gains in Europe, the automaker said Friday. Group global auto deliveries in the three months through December declined 4.1%, leading to roughly flat sales for the full year.
