Arabica Extends Gain as Firmer Brazilian Real Seen Hurting Sales
Arabica coffee futures extended gains after a Tuesday rally in New York, buoyed by expectations that a stronger Brazilian real will continue to curb sales from the world’s largest producer.
The most-active contract climbed as much as 2.4% on Wednesday, before trimming gains. A premium commanded by March futures over May hit the highest level since the contracts started trading.
