Televisa Leaders Add to Holdings Through Swap With Former Boss
The top executives of media conglomerate Grupo Televisa SAB acquired $106 million in shares from their old boss, now the chairman of sports spinoff Ollamani SAB, who in exchange got a bigger stake in the owner of soccer team Club America and Mexico’s Azteca Stadium.
Televisa Co-Chief Executive Officers Alfonso de Angoitia and Bernardo Gomez agreed to buy 26.3 billion Series A shares from Emilio Azcarraga Jean, who used to be chairman and CEO of the company, according to a statement late Monday.
