AMD Shares Slide Even as CEO Points to Soaring Computing Demand

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. shares slid on Tuesday, with investors brushing off comments by Chief Executive Officer Lisa Su that demand is soaring.

After initially gaining nearly 1%, the stock fell as much as 4.4% to $211.25. That marked the worst intraday decline in about three weeks.
