Turkey Inflation Slowed at Year-End, Supporting Rate Cuts
Turkish inflation slowed for the third month in a row, potentially allowing the central bank to maintain its downward interest-rate path in the new year.
Annual price growth decelerated to 30.9% in December, the national statistics office said Monday, down from 31.1% the previous month. Economists expected 31%, according to the median estimate in a survey compiled by Bloomberg.
