Polish President Picks Zarzecki for Central Bank’s Rate Panel
Polish President Karol Nawrocki picked sociologist and statistician Marcin Zarzecki to join the central bank’s interest-rate setting panel.
Zarzecki will replace Cezary Kochalski, whose six-year term ended this month, on the 10-strong Monetary Policy Council, according to a statement published by the president’s office. The mandates of the council’s other members, including Governor Adam Glapinski, end in 2028.
